House rules

The management and committee of Billund Bad want it to be a nice place to stay.

Therefore, it is necessary to have some simple rules both for

  • practical reasons
  • sanitary reasons
  • safety reasons

Practical reasons

The directions given by the staff must be followed!

  • On days with many visitors, the bathing time may be limited. The ticket office closes half an hour before the closing time of the baths, and guests must get out of the pools one quarter of an hour before closing time.
  • Valuables may be left at the ticket office. Never leave your purse or other valuables in the locker room. Remember that Billund Bad disclaims responsibility for the valuables left in custody. If you use the wardrobe, it is at your own risk.
  • Rubber beach toys and rings may be used in the small pool only.
  • Quiet ball games are allowed in the low part of the big pool, but only if the other swimmers do not object.
  • You have to pay attention to the swimmers exercising.
  • Only swimmers may be by the pools.
  • Have you forgotten anything? Please contact the ticket office.

Sanitary rules

  • In order to keep the pool water clean and nice, it is necessary for everybody to wash the entire body and hair with soap – before putting on your swimming things.
  • Help us economize on energy by not using too much hot water.
  • You are not allowed by the pools or in the bathing rooms with shoos.
  • Remember to wash before you use the sauna in order to avoid any possible chlorine fumes.
  • You are not allowed to bring swimming things and wet towels into the sauna.

Safety rules

  • Never run nor jump near the pools or in the changing rooms. The floor is very slippery when you have wet feet.
  • You are not allowed to make headers in the low part of the pool.
  • Please take a good look around before you dive from the pool edge and especially from the springboards. Never jump too far out from the springboards. Beware of the tilted edge in the pool.
  • The diver has complete responsibility.
  • Only swimmers, who can swim 200m without swimming equipment, are allowed in the deep end of the pool.
  • At any time, the staff may forbid diving from the edge and the springboards.
  • It is not allowed to make "trampoline" dives or "bombs" into the pool.
  • Never push anybody into the water or keep them under the water – not even if they have allowed it themselves. This will lead to immediate expulsion.
  • Please avoid shouting and noisy behaviour.
  • Please remember that all activities in Billund Bad are at your own risk.

Enjoy yourself!
